I hope you enjoy Part I of a conversation I had with my cousin about perimenopause and menopause and the symptoms that affected her life. In summation, it would’ve been nice if someone gave us a heads up about a few things lol But it’s good to know we can talk to each other and figure it out 😉
My Bloody Hell episode that Tiffini referenced where I reveal all things perimenopause that happened with me.
Thank you for sharing, ladies. My heavy bleeding and pain from fibroids led to a hysterectomy because it was so bad. Now I’m just coping with the occasional hot flash. As far as the dry skin, I found that hyaluronic acid has helped a lot with mine! ❤️ 😊

That’s what I’ve heard from others, Deb! For me, my gynecologist has looked all around, and there are no fibroids, which is very surprising, considering the amount of blood that accompanies each cycle.
So far, I’ve managed to decrease the hot flashes with dietary changes.
Thanks for the tip about the hyaluronic acid…our next video talks about what Tiffini did for hers, too.

I appreciate how you and Lori are supporting women through this “mysterious” change and normalizing it.

Lori’s podcast is awesome, and I wished she’d do another season. It was very revealing. What women hold onto because there’s either no support or no information is unreal.

Yes, such a great education. Love the; this support doesn’t exist, so I’ll create it and help other women. Once again, our amazing bodies baffle doctors, but this should be everyday conversation- open. Thankful for you and Lori sharing your stories.

Great work in demystifying perimenopause and menopause. These should be an everyday topic, indeed.

Thank you, Khaya! I totally agree, kind of like, “how’s menopause going?” lol

I love that we’re talking so more openly about menopause these days. I had early menopause that lasted for over ten years, so this is a subject dear to my heart. (I’m 64 and I still get hot flashes!) I have found that avoiding alcohol and caffeine helps a lot, but I know each woman has to figure out what works for her own body.

I agree, Ann. I think it’s a new day for a lot of things, and I’m definitely here for the transition (pun intended).
Reducing alcohol and caffeine have been super helpful for me, so I also agree with that advice!
Thanks for leaving this comment ❤ The more voices we add, the better 😉
